I was very involved in marking examination papers for OCR. I retired at 50 to become my mother’s carer. I wrote all my own teaching materials and had 4 books on Information Technology published by McGraw Hill. In the early 1980s I was trained on an IBM Clone with 4 other members of staff and since then concentrated on teaching word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. I have worked in comprehensive schools, but most of my career I worked as a lecturer in a college.
